PG Podcast 3 - Audrey Boguchwal on a historian's view of code culture
July 2016 (perspective of an assistant professor)
Audrey Boguchwal (@Lowconcept) was trained as a historian and anthropologist and is now working as a software product manager at a nonprofit. I've known her since we attended CTY as teenagers back in 1998 (we're both in that nostalgic class photo!).
In this PG Podcast, we discuss Audrey's fascination with the social and historical implications of open-source code culture that manifests in version control platforms such as GitHub. She brings a fresh perspective since she's only recently begun working with software engineers and absorbing facets of their unique culture.
