PG Podcast 55 - Laurel Schwulst on art, code, teaching, and the magic of the bespoke web
February 2020 (perspective of an assistant professor)
Laurel Schwulst is a designer, writer, and educator—teaching interactive design at institutions like Princeton, Rutgers, and Yale, but more recently organizing the independent web workshop Fruitful School.
She cold-emailed me with some ideas about my vlog, which inspired me to check out her website. I really liked what I saw there, so I asked if she wanted to come on the podcast. In this PG Podcast (which is the first time we've ever talked!), we cover a vast number of topics around art, design, technology, teaching, and the charm of old-school online communities.
