Writing Periods

This website's contents span several periods of my life, including:

• high school student: 1997 – 2001
• college student: 2001 – 2005
• master's student: 2005 – 2006
• Ph.D. student: 2006 – 2012
• postdoc: 2012 – 2014 (spans Google, edX, and MIT jobs)
• assistant professor: 2014 – 2020
• associate professor: 2020 – present

Most articles are labeled with both a date and a period to provide context about when they were written.

The contents of my old articles might not necessarily represent my current views. For instance, an article from when I was a postdoc will likely adopt a different tone and perspective than one written back when I was a college student.
